TOUR OF HISTORIC ORCHARDS This is an epic, all day, Autumn Adventure in search of historic orchards. At this time of year we have the greatest chance to see and taste heirloom fruit still on the trees. This next tour will be to all new locations from our previous ones. We will meet between 8:30 and 9am at Heaven and Earth Farm, near North San Juan, CA and tour the Felix Gillet Mother Orchards. Then we will carpool to other historic mining camps, homesteads and ranches. These locations are on often on private land, and we are allowed to go there only with special permission from the owners.
One of our Heirloom Fruit Hunters said, “Being on this tour made me feel like I won one of Willy Wonka’s Golden Tickets.”
