HELP INSTALL A COMMUNITY ORCHARD
This is a new direction of the Felix Gillet Institute – to establish public orchards of our heirloom trees for the benefit of local communities. One at a time, we will plant trees that our children and grandchildren will get to enjoy. We have one site we are working on now and envisioning more as we work with public officials and organizations. We hold to the belief that we may never sit under the spreading branches of these trees, but they will benefit those to come.
OAK TREE PARK COMMUNITY ORCHARD
The Felix Gillet Institute is an integral part of establishing this Food Forest of Historic Fruit and Nut Trees at the Oak Tree Park/Oak Tree School hillside border. Please consider a donation to help with this installation.
Irrigation supplies: $500, Organic Fertilizers: $500, Concrete Bench to sit on and enjoy the trees: $900.
